Stan Scott fishing in the Royal British Legion Scotland competition at The Watch today swept the boards with an impressive catch of 14 fish. Stan also caught the largest fish of the day with Charlie Hutchison from Kelso also netting a fish around the 6lb mark.
Despite the cool and intermittent sunny conditions anglers persuaded an impressive 68 Blue and Rainbow trout to the net. The fish appeared to be well spread out and caught on all shores with floating, midge tip and slow intermediate lines. Damsels, booby's, buzzers (16s/14s), crunchers and cormorants were the catching patterns.
